Order by the deadline and macarons will be available for pick-up and/or shipped by the following Monday.

How do I pick up my macarons?

If you’re local to Chicago (Lakeview neighborhood), you can pick up your macarons at a pre-determined day/time. After you order, we’ll be in touch to share details and make arrangements.

How do you safely ship the macarons?

Macarons are shipped in cozy containers made for just this type of sweet and then cushioned in bubble wrap. We also include ice packs to keep the macarons chilled. The macarons should be refrigerated as soon as you receive them.

How do I best enjoy my macarons?

Keep macarons refrigerated until you’re ready to eat them. Ideally, allow them to come to just below room temp before enjoying, when they should have a crisp outer shell, a fluffy center and delicious cream filling.

How long do macarons stay fresh?

Macarons can stay fresh in the freezer for up to one month, or in the fridge for up to a week.

Are Deux Macarons gluten free?

Yes! Macarons are a naturally gluten-free cookie, since they’re made with almond flour. Some fillings may include gluten, which will be noted in each description.

Are Deux Macarons dairy free?

Not usually, no. Buttercream fillings include…well, butter. If a particular flavor is dairy free, it will be noted in the description.

Can I request a flavor?

Sure! Drop us a note with your flavor recommendation and we’ll try to work it into our upcoming schedule.
